There are many ways to engage in forest therapy! Take a look and find one that's right for you:
Public Walks: These are walks that are open to the public, you are one of many others coming to a preserve, park or arboretum for some connection with nature. You may choose from all our locations here.
Private Individual Walks: Private walks are done as life coaching or as a quiet walk in nature with the same type of invitations you might experience on a public walk, just more personal.
Family & Friends Walks & Events: Gather a group of friends or family members and create your own unique experience. This is a great idea for a birthday or reunion, or simply a way to spend time together.
Walks for Youth: Long Island Forest Walks Connects Kids to Parks through a New York State grant program at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Private home school walks are also available.
Add-on for your Retreat or Workshop: A Forest Walk is the perfect ending to your multiple day retreat or workshop. It's a way to deepen the learning, as the walk is customized for your event.
Leadership & Team building Training: With 20+ years in leadership and management development, after a half day of classroom training, we've learned that adding an afternoon forest walk boosts cognitive function and deepens the learning. It's a great team building experience, too.
